1. A U.S. visa has been obtained and is still valid, or has expired for no more than 12 months(Now extended to 48 months until further notice);
2. Have obtained a U.S. visa before, and can provide the original copy of the last U.S. visa;
3. A U.S. visa must have been issued at the consular section of the U.S. embassy or consulate in mainland China (Beijing, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shanghai, or Shenyang) or the Consulate General in Hong Kong.
4. Aged 14 years or above (inclusive), fingerprints collected,I am in China;
5. The renewal is for the same type of visa;
6. Those who are under 14 years old and over 80 years old (inclusive), and whose latest application for a US visa has not been rejected.

note:If only the passport expires but the US visa does not expire, in this case there is no need to renew the US visa.But you need to update your EVUS before departure, so just bring the old and new passports with you.

If the passport with a U.S. visa is lost or stolen, the U.S. visa will be invalid, and you cannot make an appointment to avoid a visa interview. You can only reapply through an interview.

Materials required for visa-free interview
